The world is filled with noise. Music (all sorts of
genres), highways, city blocks, homes (appliances, pets, children, spouse, telephone);
even the “quiet” country can be filled with wildlife, winds, rains and storms -
and home. Within each sound, there is one voice crying through . . . non-ceasing,
non-relenting, and nonplused. We must seek to hear it. Our Lord calls to
each of us through every moment of our lives. Remember, He is there. Listen to
Him. He never leaves.
…Listen to my voice; then I will be your God and you
shall be my people. Walk in all the ways that I command you, so that you may
prosper. – Jeremiah 7:23
